Jeff and I have birthdays 4 days apart and we celebrated by visiting the Magic Kingdom. We had a wonderful day with the kids. Maddie was especially excited for Jeff's birthday and wrote him a great note.

Best Friends

When we first moved to California I started searching for a pre-school for Lauren. I asked around to see where everyone took their children. I found out that there was a pre-school just up the street that most people go to. I also found out that it is really hard to get your child in the school because of the way they do enrollment. I got all the necessary information and registered Lauren for the fall and thought I was all done. Well, think again!!! Each trimester you have to go through the process again and re-enroll your child. AUGGHH!!! You have to be speedy quick on the computer at 7 a.m. sharp on the enrollment date or no luck. Soooo, I was ready and then on the day of Winter enrollment I got side tracked and ended up on the computer at 7:01 am. The only thing left was 1 spot and it was my absolute last choice of classes. I signed Lauren up anyway knowing that none of her friends would be in the class but we were going to give it a try. She also wasn't really loving school and the new class didn't start for another month and a half so I had plenty of time to worry and fret about it. Well, the new trimester began and magic happened. Lauren blossomed, started loving school and found S. She has been such a blessing to Lauren and they are two sweet peas in a pod. I am so thankful that I missed the 7 a.m. mad rush and ended up with something I really didn't want. Because of it Lauren's life will forever be changed and she has a life long BFF.

S has a working mom and a stay home
dad. He is so great to the girls and takes
them on all kinds of adventures. He had an
extra ticket to Legoland and Lauren got
to go. Best play date ever!!!

This was the favorite ride

What better way to spend the day than
Yesterdays play date started at 10 am and ended at 4 pm
It was strange only having 1 child at home all day
The girls played dress up, watched movies, giggled,
ate lunch, went to the park, had a photo shoot, and
ended it with a yummy frozen yogurt treat. Thanks
B for entertaining the girls and sharing the pictures!!

I love the pose and the twisted foot

Yes, I am back tracking again but that is the story of my life right now. We headed to Utah for Christmas and had a wonderful time. BUT before we left we had a few things to do.....
Christmas pajama party with the girls

of course we had to visit Disneyland and this
is the only picture I took. The other family
members were off getting a treat and we
just happened to run into Minnie

Then we drove 12 straight hours and safely made it to
Utah. On Christmas morning Parker woke at 4 am.
When the others woke at 8 am we quickly took
a picture and put him back to bed. He was
tired so we opened presents without him

The family picture without our Parker

I love this picture of Maddie
She was so excited to open her presents

Maddie has a great voice so we thought she
would enjoying singing with this

in the snow. It was almost as tall as the girls

Parker was soooo cold but he didn't want to go inside

I hope they don't get stuck together!!

Grandpa started pushing them around with a
shovel. They had a blast!!!

These scooters are so fun......especially in the snow

Where there is a grandpa......there is bailing twine.
Grandpa pulled Parker up the street and Parker
would ride down alone. It was great to watch!

What a great looking group!!!

Thanks Ryan, Michele, and boys for your totally
awesome tubing hill. It is the best and we don't
have to fight crowds. In the summer it is the
worlds best slip n slide!!
